As a Siblings Doula, I pour my heart into making sure your older child feels cherished and included during the tender transition of welcoming a new baby - because when a family grows, every little heart deserves to feel the love and wonder of belonging.

A siblings doula provides care, comfort, and connection for your older child(ren) while your family welcomes a new baby. I support families offering guidance and reassurance for older siblings during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

Having experienced childbirth away from home myself, I understand how challenging it can be to navigate these moments without the usual support of family and friends. With bilingual French, Dutch, and English support, I help families create a smooth, loving transition for the whole family.

What it includes?

With me as your Siblings Doula, I will:

  • Be there for your child during labor and birth, offering loving attention, playful activities, and age-appropriate explanations to help them feel safe and included.

  • Create a warm and nurturing environment where they feel valued, even as the focus shifts to the new baby.

  • Step in to manage routines like meals, naps, or bedtime, so you can focus on the birthing process without worrying about your little one.

  • Help your older child embrace their new role as a big sibling with excitement and confidence.

    A Siblings Doula’s role is to nurture your older child(ren) during the beautiful and transformative experience of welcoming a new sibling. Here’s how I can help create a smooth and loving transition:

    ✨ Being on-call and arriving when you request, ready to care for your child(ren).
    ✨ Entertaining, playing with, and comforting your little one(s) to ensure they feel loved and secure.
    ✨ Explaining the birth process in an age-appropriate way, answering questions, and easing any anxieties.
    ✨ Involving your child in the birth process as much or as little as you desire, fostering a sense of inclusion and excitement.
    ✨ Providing care to ensure your child stays nourished, hydrated, and rested, with meals, naps, or bedtime routines seamlessly managed.

    ✨ Offering practical support so you can focus fully on the birthing experience, knowing your child is cared for.
