Land of Mothers

A sanctuary for doula care and maternal celebration that is inclusive and welcoming of all. I aim to humbly support all persons and families, with an open heart and open mind. I serve Purmerend, Amsterdam, Landsmeer, Zaandam, Hoorn and Noord Holland.

In my prenatal sessions, I don’t just support you emotionally and mentally; I also work with your body 🤍

As a doula, I offer gentle, nourishing bodywork:

I love offering rebozo during pregnancy.

It slows time.
It creates a cocoon.
Wrapped, swaddled, gently rocked - your nervous system softens as you feel held.

From there, the pelvis finds mobility.
The body finds space.

Rebozo is simple and powerf

10 years ago I became a mother far from home, and there is loss in that.

Language. Traditions.
Birthdays that don’t quite land the same.
Community, shared stories, the feeling of being known without explaining.

The more I practice with the rebozo, the more I witness its quiet, ancient magic.

After birth, when a woman has opened so fully, body and soul, there’s often a deep need to be gathered again. To be held, contained, wrapped.

The world of birth and doula work is very women-led, and sisterhood is deeply needed - because women need women in those rites of passage and transitional moments.

But we also need more space for men.

When Umi came to Earth and crawled straight to my breast, I was in awe.
